abstract = {Zusammenfassung Regenwürmer sind Leistungsträger innerhalb des Bodennahrungsnetzes und erbringen zahlreiche ökologische Dienstleistungen. So fördern sie Bodenstrukturbildung, Bodengesundheit, Nährstoffverfügbarkeit, Belüftung, Wasserspeicherung sowie Widerstands- und Regenerationsfähigkeit von Böden. Dieses große Leistungsspektrum hilft Fruchtbarkeit und Produktivität landwirtschaftlich genutzter Böden nachhaltig zu gewährleisten. Eine Förderung der Regenwürmer durch angepasste, bodenschonende Managementmaßnahmen ist unerlässlich, um die natürlichen Ressourcen der Regenwürmer optimal zu nutzen. Ein synergistisches Zusammenspiel aus Leistungen der Regenwürmer und landwirtschaftlichem Management ist daher ein erfolgversprechender Ansatz, um Bodenfruchtbarkeit und Ertragssicherheit zukünftig nachhaltig zu sichern.},

abstract = {The aim of this study is determining the expectations of high school students about the use of technology in education and their views on whether these expectations were met or not. The study was designed as a case study. In the study, embedded single-case design, which is one of the designs of case study, was used. The participants of the study consisted of 100 students in the 9th-10th11th and 12th grades of a high school in Mersin in the spring semester of the 20182019 academic year. Research data were obtained by using interview method. Content analysis was used in the analysis of the data obtained. According to the findings obtained from the research, it is seen that ; hardware and software inadequacy, lack of knowledge and negative attitudes of teachers about the integration of technology into education, and restrictions imposed on students are considered by Generation Z high school students as factors that negatively affect the use of technology in education. Students evaluated the use of technology in education by considering its positive and negative effects. Considering the positive effects, the use of technology increases students' interest in the lesson, enables them to learn easily, increases their technology use skills, and provides easier and faster access to more information. All of the students recommend the use of technology in all lessons. They stated that for this, there should be content prepared for each lesson. The students compared their teachers with themselves on the use of technology and characterized them as older and less knowledgeable. In this case, they think that teachers should be trained on the use of technology.},

This paper aims to explore the career aspirations of individuals belonging to the Gen Z cohort, i.e. born between 1995 and 2012.

Design/methodology/approach:
|
||
This paper is a systematic review of the literature. The authors accessed five databases to collect literature for review. The databases included were Academic Search Ultimate, Business Source Ultimate, ERIC and Google Scholar. Keywords used to conduct the search process were as follows: career development, career aspiration, generation Z, Gen Z and iGen. The authors imported all articles to RefWorks, read article abstracts and decided on whether to include or exclude the article in the review.

Findings:
|
||
Based on this systematic review, the authors found that intrinsic and extrinsic factors determine Gen Z's career aspirations. Further, based on past studies' predictions, the authors concluded that Gen Z has well-defined career expectations and career development plans.
|
||
Research limitations/implications:
|
||
Gen Z is the newest generation to enter the workforce. With limited research on this cohort, this study synthesized the existing knowledge of Gen Z students' career aspirations and their future employers' expectations. All research around Gen Z is currently focused on students, and hence, it is challenging to predict their workplace behavior. In this work, the authors provided organizations and practitioners guidelines to be prepared with Gen Z's expectations as they enter the workplace.

This systematic literature review synthesizes empirical research from around the world on career aspirations related to Gen Z.},

abstract = {Generation Z, or Gen Z, represents 24\% of the U.S. population and is very different from earlier generations. A higher proportion of Gen Zers are earning college degrees, and they are now moving to the next phase in which they will constitute the predominant majority of the incoming workforce. Gen Z faced an unusual set of technology-driven circumstances while growing up and thus bring a distinct set of characteristics into the workplace. We offer a new research-based framework, DITTO, which encapsulates specific recommendations for organizations on diversity, individualism and teamwork, technology, and organizational supports. DITTO serves as a useful mnemonic to help managers recall specific ways to support Gen Zers and leverage the strengths of Gen Zers to benefit the organization and the workforce. Research shows that Gen Zers are more open to diversity and more individualistic and technology-driven than other generations. To the extent that companies use the DITTO framework, the more attractive they should be to Gen Z workers; but the principles of this framework also extend beyond Gen Zers to existing workforce with similar efficacy.},
